Our new community art project for 2025 “Up in the Air!” – is underway!

The Buellton City Council, once again, generously gave us a grant to add new banners to the city streets and create an outreach program to showcase the art by our community artists in 2025.

Deadline for Art Submissions ended April 11, 2025.
Banners are scheduled to go up in July 2025!

All donations and sponsorships are tax deductible and will now be coordinated with our partnering nonprofit -

Santa Ynez Valley Children's Museum

Thank you so much,  Buellton!

Our “Exploring the Ocean!” community art project is up!

Thank you Artists & Buellton!

The Buellton City Council generously awarded us a grant to add banners to our city streets and create an outreach program showcasing art by our incredible community artists. We received some amazing art submissions! Thank you to all of the telented artists that participated! In the end, we combined the work of over 80 community artists, aged 5-80, to create the 14 banner designs now displayed throughout Buellton (and shown below). Be on the lookout each month for our social media features!

Because of our generous sponsors...

  • Books were donated for K-2nd grade  participants.
  • A Zazzle Shop was created.
  • More artists' work was added (up from 36 artists in 2023 to over 80 artists in 2024).
  • We will have drone videography of the banners!

PAST PROJECT: In 2022/23, Buellton, California created a community art project –

Funky Flowers & Butterflies

Between the Buellton City Council grant, individual donations, and sponsors, we combined the works of 36 community artists, aged 5-75, to create 14 creative banners that were displayed along Avenue of the Flags. This project also included fun social media features and highlighted the incredible talent of our community members!

A huge thank you to all the artists, sponsors, donors, and helpers who made this project possible!
